Project Brief
The objective of the project was to bring Atul Kasbekar's refined taste and personality to life through a video series — The Kasby Edit. Atul, one of India’s most iconic advertising photographers, envisioned the series as a curation of “finer things for gentlemen.” From fashion and fragrances to travel and timepieces, each episode would explore tasteful indulgences through conversations and recommendations.
Logo Design & Animation
Studio Posty designed a typographic logo that placed The Kasby Edit alongside its tagline ‘Finer Things For Gentlemen’ within a camera frame — a nod to Atul’s identity as a lifelong photographer. The motion graphic treatment featured a subtle camera shutter flicker effect, adding elegance and context to the series' visual opening. The logo animation was used consistently across all videos to establish brand recall and a sense of continuity.
Short Form Reels
Studio Posty edited several short-form reels for the series, which were published on Atul’s social media platforms. Each reel began with the animated logo and seamlessly transitioned into high-quality talking-head footage mixed with B-roll. These edits included thoughtful colour correction, stylish subtitles, and understated background music — all chosen to reflect the tasteful, sophisticated vibe of the series. The content resonated strongly with viewers, garnering hundreds of thousands of views.
Podcast Episode Edit
The editing process involved syncing footage from a multi-camera setup to maintain visual variety and flow. Subtitling, sound design, and consistent color correction were applied to ensure a polished and immersive viewing experience that matched the premium tone of the series. Each episode of The Kasby Edit podcast began with a dynamic cold open — a short, high-impact teaser featuring the most intriguing moments from the conversation. The podcast was structured in a Q&A format, with each new question introduced using a vintage camera roll overlay, reinforcing the show's refined, classic aesthetic. Throughout the episode, relevant high-quality image assets were incorporated to visually support the topics being discussed.
Graphic Design
To build a strong visual identity for The Kasby Edit, Studio Posty created a set of static design assets that complemented the video content. This included reel covers and podcast thumbnails that featured Atul Kasbekar prominently alongside bold, attention-grabbing titles that highlighted the theme of each episode. The use of strong typography, clean layouts, and rich stills from the shoot gave each asset a polished, editorial feel.
