Project Brief
Studio Posty undertook a comprehensive project for the KKR Knights Dugout show, an exciting 7-episode series hosted by Cyrus Broacha on the official YouTube channel of Kolkata Knight Riders. The show featured guests from the IPL Team KKR, engaging in lively chats, sharing anecdotes, exploring memes, and indulging in entertaining banter about topics inside & outside of cricket. The project involved diverse tasks, including motion graphics, graphic design, and post-production editing, to craft an engaging and immersive viewing experience for the audience.
Process Workflow
The project was done in collaboration with OML, laying the foundation for Studio Posty's post-production enhancements. This collaboration ensured seamless editing, resulting in a polished and professional final product for the KKR Knights Dugout series.
Promo Edits & Cover Design
The promo edits provided viewers with intriguing previews of upcoming episodes, effectively building anticipation and excitement. The cover designs for promos featured dynamic visuals and compelling guest lineups, staying true to the show's branding and design ethos.
Thumbnail Graphic Design
The static thumbnail designs for each episode were meticulously crafted in line with KKR YouTube's design identity. The objective was to capture viewers' attention and convey essential information at a glance. Each thumbnail featured guest photos, episode numbers, and branding elements, contributing to the show's visually distinctive identity.
Motion Graphics & Animations
The creation of catchy logo animations involved seamlessly blending the KKR Logo with lively motion elements. The title animation, featuring a cricket ball and microphone, added a touch of excitement and sports flavor to the show's introduction. A stinger animation was crafted to serve as seamless transitions between scenes. These stingers contributed to a cohesive viewing experience and maintained audience engagement throughout the episodes. The super animation, highlighting guest names, was added to the show's graphics, ensuring key information was effectively conveyed to viewers.
Visual Effects
Creative visual effects were added to enhance the viewing experience of the show. The intro of the video was designed to resemble a behind-the-scenes (BTS) scene with a camera recording overlay, adding an element of authenticity. For the end slate, a visual effect was applied to make the video appear as if it was being run on a projector, adding an immersive touch that made the video more engaging for the audience.
Online Screen Elements
Multiple split-screen graphic templates were developed to showcase guest reactions and diverse content simultaneously, enriching the viewing experience.
