The project involved creating a dynamic short-form video for Aaditya Kulshreshth (Kullu) to showcase his live stand-up comedy. The goal was to produce a hyper-edited montage of his stand-up shows, including his best moments, audience interactions, and the lively atmosphere. The video was intended for his social media channels, celebrating his journey and engaging his followers.
Editing Process
The editing process began with carefully curating the most impactful moments from Kullu's live shows, including his on-stage performances, audience interactions, and behind-the-scenes photographs. A variety of complex transitions and text effects were integrated. These included creative text styles to represent college names, light leaks to add a nostalgic feel, and film reel and noise effects to create an authentic aesthetic. Scribble effects were used to inject a sense of spontaneity, while alpha match cuts ensured smooth transitions between scenes. Each effect was carefully chosen to enhance the overall vibe of the video without detracting from the content.
