Project Brief
The objective was to provide production & post production editing for a promotional video titled 'Moves That Matter' by Ampere (Greaves Electric Mobility) featuring Vidit Gujrathi. The task was to highlight Vidit's excellence in chess and align it with Ampere's values of efficiency and forward-thinking in the EV automobile industry. The production involved a day of shoot in Nashik, where Vidit lives. While most of the shoot was planned, Vidit's improvisation added depth to the project.
Editing Process
The editing process began by curating video assets including montages of Vidit riding the Ampere EV Scooter, talking head videos, and B-Roll Shots. Careful selection of footage based on the video script was followed by adding suitable background music to enhance the narrative. The video included an intro portion showcasing Vidit's chess career highlights in a retro look using textures and overlays. Additionally, a separately recorded voice-over by Vidit was seamlessly integrated into the video.
Final Showcase
The result was a captivating promotional video that seamlessly blended Vidit's story of chess excellence with Ampere's vision for the future of EV automobiles. The short timeline added to the challenge of the project, but our expertise in production & video editing ensured a polished and impactful final product.
